Renowned vocalist and performer, Christyan Seay has generously offered to perform at Landis House, where he will present an hour-long concert benefiting his friend and fellow musician, Steve Rudolph. Perry County Council of the Arts will donate 60 percent of all ticket sales towards supporting Steve’s recovery efforts!

Steve Rudolph has had an inspiring career in his 50+ years of professional music making. Jazz Improv magazine states, “Rudolph is a savvy, swinging, glimmering heavyweight…simply outstanding.”

Well known in Central PA for his Six Night a week, 22 yearlong job as house pianist at the Hilton Harrisburg (1990-2012), Steve is a Yamaha Keyboard Artist and is in demand as a clinician and performer.

Rebecca Covert

Rebecca Covert performed in Pittsburgh, PA as the featured house singer in Off the Wall Theater’s cabaret series, which launched in February 2014. Her cabaret acts, Indecent Divas and Welcome the Rain, also debuted at Off the Wall Theater in 2015. Rebecca’s first solo cabaret, Lady in Flames, played at the University of Pittsburgh Studio Theater in 2013. She was a featured soloist with the Eclectic Laboratory Chamber Orchestra (ELCO) and performed around the Pittsburgh area in a jazz & blues duo with guitarist Dan Burgun. Rebecca also played Goody Plenty in “Amish Burlesque”, a parody musical featured at the Greer Cabaret Theater with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and more recently, Mama Rose in McKeesport Little Theater’s production of “Gypsy”.

Mr. Music FREE Kids’ Concert AND Drop-In Art!

Families are invited to a fun and FREE concert with Mr. Music®, geared towards kids of all ages. Afterward, stick around for Drop-In Art, our free monthly make-and-take craft time for kids to create a jar lid banjo, rainbow music stick and jingle bell bracelet.

Guitar in hand, Lenny Tepsich, also known as Mr. Music®, greets children and they light up with anticipation. When he leaves, they never forget having met Mr. Music. He motivates kids with simple songs sung by children for generations as well as original tunes he writes just for them. In 1988, his daughters kindergarten class nicknamed him Mr. Music and it stuck!

Callanish

Callanish, a Celtic band based in central Pennsylvania, plays Irish and Scottish music in the traditional style. Their repertoire includes lively jigs and reels, haunting airs, and rollicking songs from Ireland, Scotland, and elsewhere in the British Isles. The band regularly plays at festivals and concert series, as well as at weddings and parties.

Steve Rudolph

Steve will perform jazz renditions of holiday favorites. He will be accompanied by two guest artists – Dred “perky” Scott – vocalist, and Hassan J.J. Shakur – bassist.

Rudolph has had an inspiring career in his 50+ years of professional music making. Jazz Improv Magazine states, “Rudolph is a savvy, swinging, glimmering heavy-weight… Simply outstanding.” He was awarded two jazz composition fellowships from the PA Council on the Arts. With 14 acclaimed CDs as a leader, he has served as producer, arranger, and performer on numerous recordings. Steve has toured throughout the U.S., India, Europe, Canada, Russia, and the Caribbean.
