Intro to Encaustic Painting with Michelle Randall

Sat. Jan 21, 11 am – 4 pm: Intro to Encaustic Painting with Michelle Randall at Landis House.

In tandem with Michelle’s show opening at PCCA’s gallery, she’s teaching a course on her own medium! The introduction to encaustic workshop will give participants a hands-on introduction to the encaustic process. Michele will provide a demonstration of basic techniques followed by hands-on studio time. Skills presented in this class include fusing; layering; texture; inscribing lines; trace monotype; and transfer paper; and introduction to collage. All supplies included. Students will have the opportunity to complete an encaustic painting and leave with a working knowledge of the technique.
