“A Day In The Park” Poster Contest Rules and Entry Form

1. Contest open to students in grades nine through twelve.
2. Original entries should be no smaller than 8 x 10” and not exceed 11” x 17”.
3. No limit to art medium used. Pen, marker, or watercolor are encouraged.
4. Pastel, chalk or charcoal entries are discouraged due to possible damage.
5. Design must include the following informaon:
“A Day In The Park” June 1,2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at
Lynn Sheaffer Dum Memorial Park, 2471 Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, PA
Featuring food trucks, live music, arts & crafts for children, raffles and more!
6. Winning entries will receive $100, $75 or $50 cash prizes at June 1 event.
7. $100 winning entry poster may be mass reproduced for adversing.
8. If student wishes to have artwork returned, this must be clearly indicated on the entry form. All atempts to return artwork to high school offices will be made.
9. Winners may be photographed with entries for event publicity.

Join us as we honor the award-winning poets from this year’s annual poetry competition and for the presentation of the 2021 Perry County Poet Laureate. Stick around for Coffeehouse Open Mic following the awards ceremony! Grab a bite to eat and a glass of wine from Buddy Boy and enjoy poetry readings, live music and more! No outside food/drink please.
