Make a difference in your community!
The PCCA Gallery and Landis House are the two PCCA locations (both in Newport, PA) where you can be a regular part of the magic that is PCCA! Volunteer activities can be as simple as stuffing envelopes to more regular events like hosting at gallery exhibit openings, and you may even have the chance to assist with a project from beginning to end over a longer period of time. If you're a little more adventurous PCCA also hosts or sponsors events in the community, such as concerts, that you could help out with. Regardless of how you contribute your time and efforts, your talent and skills can help us reach our goals! Complete our online volunteer interest form.
Most importantly - we know that everyone's time is precious! We have projects that you can do once a year or as often as you like. Our goal is to always make your volunteer experience beneficial to you including intrinsic rewards, references for jobs (volunteering always looks good on resumes) or internships and documentation for Act 48 credits.

Here are some examples of the ways you can help PCCA:
Office Volunteer: stuffing envelopes, filing, archiving, data entry and more
Gallery Volunteer: host a gallery opening or use your "eye for design" to make our Gallery look spectacular
Event Volunteer: various skills are always appreciated and there are plenty of ways in which you can help
Youth Art Day: help out with general activities like set-up, display, registration, waiting room, Emcees, runners, food donations and servers
Photographer: at all events and PCCA activities we like to have a photographer to record the fun!
Special Projects: whether it's sewing curtains or banners to building display units and pedestals, there is usually a creative hands-on project waiting for the right person to help us out
