LEAP Book Signing

Friday, March 2 from 7 to 8:30 pm
at PCCA Gallery

Hot off the press, LEAP combines the artistic dynamism of photographer VL Latta and poet Tony Oliveri. Often collaborating as Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and a real life couple, it is only fitting that VL Latta’s first foray into publishing, and Tony Oliveri’s first collaborative book, should be LEAP.

VL Latta’s love for photography began with a Polaroid Model 20 in 1965, her first camera. In the late ‘70s she learned darkroom processing. And in 2002 she embraced the advent of digital photography. Tony Oliveri a.k.a. the Poet Coot has been active in the local art scene for over 30 years. He has volunteered at Every Little Buffalo Festival and is a founding member of Sophie’s Reaction Writers Group, where his poems are still enthusiastically received. Tony’s other collections of poems include his books Framing Mundane Moments, 20 Some Thing and Dithyramb Sithyramb.
