Sophie's Reaction
calling all wordsmiths
Wordsmiths of all genres and forms—novels, plays, poetry, journalism, songs, short stories, to name a few—meet the last Wednesday every month in an open and relaxed atmosphere. Sophie's Reaction was founded in October 1996, in an effort to bring local writers together to share and critique their literary work. This grassroots writers group also conducts the annual Spring poetry contest which includes awarding the Perry County Poet Laureate, proclaimed by our County Commissioners.
