The Mission of Perry County Council of the Arts is to Support Arts and Culture in the Region.
PCCA staff and volunteers strive to fulfill the mission by helping artists become more economically viable, encouraging adults and young people to explore art forms that resonate within them, and providing numerous local programs that community members can join as creative participants or as members of an appreciative audience.
PCCA NUTURES THE CREATIVE SPIRIT in adults and children, supports artists and celebrates their successes, actively participates in the ongoing revitalization of downtown Newport enhances the regional economy, implements high-quality arts education initiatives in six counties, and brings vitality and prestige to Perry County.

IN THE PAST YEAR, Over 45,000 adults and children took a class, attended a recital, saw an exhibit, worked with an artist, displayed their art, visited a gallery, recited poetry, wrote, danced, sang, or painted, all under the auspices of the Perry County Council of the Arts.
