...funds for the future

PCCA serves people of all ages, incomes and educational backgrounds, who have various levels of experience and interests in the arts. All participants of PCCA programs and services—either emerging or established artist, patron or audience member, school student or senior citizen—encounter growth experiences. Education and professional development—through lectures, classes, recitals, and consultations—enrich all in visual, performance and literary arts.

With your help, Perry County Council of the Arts will continue to provide arts enriching opportunities for future generations. There are two distinct endowment fund options to secure a future for the arts.

C. Richard and Arletta Gregg Fund

In honor of founding volunteer leaders, the C. Richard and Arletta Gregg Fund was established as a component of the Perry County Community Foundation, administered by the The Foundation for Enhancing Communities. Having reached $10,000, distributions will be made in perpetuity to support PCCA's many programs and services.

Board Designated Endowment Fund

This fund currently produces annual income that supports an annual art award given to a graduating Perry County senior. This fund gives the organization's leaders the power and resources to respond to critical needs while still planning and supporting a positive future.

Contributions and additions to these funds may be made at any time throughout the year, in any amount, to recognize any occasion, and are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. The PCCA will acknowledge your gift with a letter for tax documentation purposes, as well as acknowledge any honoree noted. Gifting stocks, real estate, works of art, or insurance policies directly to PCCA also have tax-related advantages. Call to discuss the transfer of gifts in these categories.

The impact of this grassroots local arts agency on the community is significant…

  • Availability of the arts improves the quality of life in this rural setting.
  • Social connections are created for residents seeking arts related lifestyles and experiences.
  • Identification as a thriving "outpost" for the arts replaces negative rural cliches.
  • Civic pride burgeons as the talents of local residents receive prestige and eminence.
