Supporting ArtFlow

Calling all Artists
share your talents and knowledge

ArtFlow invites all professionally active artists of all disciplines to apply for inclusion in a directory of artists who are eligible to provide residencies.

  • Learn more about the Arts-in-Education Program
  • Understand the criteria PCA has established for this state funded initiative
  • Obtain guidance in the application process
  • Acquire improved techniques in marketing your artistic excellence
  • Become a directory artist and earn income by providing a 10-180 day educational residency in an educational setting

ArtFlow will provide the following to participating artists:

  • Conduct information sessions for artists interested in applying for the AIE Program
  • Recruit, select, train, evaluate and place professionally active visual, performing, media and literary artists in educational environments for extended in-depth residencies of 10-180 days
  • Provide a peer-to-peer evaluation process
  • Pay each artist a minimum of $175 per residency day (ensembles and artists may negotiate artist fees)
  • Provide professional development opportunities for both artists and educators

SELECTION CRITERIA: Artists will be selected on the basis of artistic excellence, evidence of ability to interact with students, ability to implement a residency plan and availability to conduct residencies.

APPLICATION PROCESS: Artists may obtain an application by stopping at our office or by calling 717-567-7023. Applications are due to PCCA in March.

INFORMATION MEETINGS: PCCA will conduct information meetings for artists in February:
