About PCCA
we envision a world filled with an inherent apprecation of the arts

The Perry County Council of the Arts is a major force among the region’s cultural organizations. PCCA was founded in 1979, incorporated in 1982, and awarded federal tax-exempt 501(c)3 status as a not-for-profit organization in 1985. We are supported by a growing list of members, numerous grants and sponsors, and major underwriting from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

The Perry County Council of the Arts makes a difference in the lives of thousands of people in Central Pennsylvania.

  • We nurture the creative spirit in adults and children.
  • We support artists and celebrate their successes.
  • We actively participate in the continued revitalization of downtown Newport and do much to support the regional economy.
  • We implement high-quality art education initiatives in 6 counties.
  • We bring prestige to the County and now to the region.

The Perry County Council of the Arts is worthy of your support.  Please join us in our efforts by participating in our programs and becoming a PCCA member.
