Lorraine Finicle , Watercolor Artist

I was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. I won an award in art in my second grade of school which turned me toward the art world. I began taking private painting classes at the age of nine and was hooked on painting loving every minute of it. Deciding art was my field early in life, I went to the Institute of Pittsburgh. After graduation I worked for the Department of Labor & Industry as an Artist Illustrator. I retired to raise two boys but continued to paint and continued to take classes as time allowed. Currently, I am working to raise awareness of the arts in my County by starting co-op after receiving a grant to support the co-op.
