Annette Braught, Pastel, Watercolor and Oil Artist

“Specializing in pastel, watercolor and oil, Annette has been painting since the early 1970’s. She is basically self-taught, but has studied with several local artists and feels that she can learn and grow through her painting. It is important to see and feel the subject matter which she paints, being able to play with the light and shadows makes a painting come alive. She loves to travel and her paintings are usually inspired from the photographs, which she has taken locally in Central Pennsylvania as well as abroad in places such as Ireland, Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, Germany and England. Her artwork typically portrays landscapes and points of interest. She has also conducted workshops and taught pastels.”

Annette exhibits her artwork in several galleries and accepts commissions for landscapes and pet portraits.
