For more than 20 years, the Sunday Arts Hour has brought beautiful music to our area. This free concert series alternates locations between PCCA’s own Landis House in Newport and the historic Fetter House in Landisburg.

Join the tradition and savor an afternoon of beautiful music from some of Central PA’s leading musical performers. Concerts are typically two hours in duration and are followed by a reception with light snacks and beverages. There is often an opportunity to meet the performer(s). Donations in any amount are always appreciated to help keep this wonderful series alive!

Charlie Zahm (Celtic and traditional folk music)

Charlie Zahn returns to Sunday Arts Hour with a program of Scottish, Irish and American Folk Music. Charlie’s music ranges from quiet and lyrical to the rousing songs of the Celtic peoples.

About the Performer
When Charlie was old enough to sing, he began appreciating the beautiful Celtic songs and melodies he first heard in the largely Scottish province of his mother’s birth, Ontario, Canada. Keenly aware of his own heritage, which includes healthy doses of Scottish and Irish blood on both sides of his family, Charlie has collected several hundred popular (as well as beautiful and obscure) selections and now performs them for thousands of fans up and down the Eastern Seaboard and across America. Today, as one of the most sought-after Celtic singers on the East Coast, Charlie performs regularly everywhere from concerts and festivals to television shows and Celtic-themed Caribbean cruises, where his 6’4″ frame and powerful baritone make him one of the most memorable performers around. He is one of only a few singers in the world to be invited to sing live twice with Scotland’s “Black Watch”.
